  Youth auditions for the 2005-2005 productions
WAS   and EVERY GOOD BOY DESERVES FAVOUR .   Auditions will be held at The Loft Theatre and second   floor rehearsal studio in the Metropolitan Arts Center at   126 N. Main Street in downtown Dayton, Saturday,   June 26 beginning at 1:00pm. Please call Theresa   Abshear, company manager at 937/461-3823 x 3113   for an appointment.

  Young Dorothy Gael - on stage should play realistically   as a 9 year-old girl. A sweet orphan child sent to live   with her Aunt & Uncle in Kansas. Her parents were   actors on the stage - they died of diptheria. Vocally - a   solid, medium-sized voice. "A" below middle "C" to
  "E-flat" an octave above middle "C".
  More like "Mary Lennox" in THE SECRET GARDEN and   less like "Annie."
Prepare two songs and a one-minute monologue.

  Sacha - son of imprisoned political dissident.   Frightened but belligerent, this character requires a   serious young actor playing 12-14 years old, preferably   5'5" or shorter. Sings sparsely with orchestra and a   capella.
Audition scenes and music to be sung a capella at auditions available for preparation.
