MARSHA HANNA has been the Artistic Director of The Human Race Theatre Company since 1990 and a resident director there since it's founding in 1986. She has produced more than 100 shows for the company including many regional premieres and directed more than 30. She has reached out to nationally to include many new guest artists at both The Loft Theatre and the Victoria Theatre. Marsha led the company in collaboration with CITYFOLK of The Dayton Stories Project to create an original stage production based on the stories of the people of Dayton: And That's My Story. She helped plan and produce "Adventures in Time" an original radio drama, taped before a live audience at The Dayton Art Institute and aired each week on WDPR-FM. Under her supervision, Theatre in Context was developed in partnership with The Muse Machine, combining a mainstage production with a Jr/Sr High touring program of reduced classics and original material as well as teacher training and study guides. Her direction for the company includes Every Good Boy Deserves Favour in collaboration with The Dayton Philharmonic at the new Schuster Center as well as I Hate Hamlet, A Christmas Carol, and The Odd Couple at the Victoria Theatre. Other Human Race offerings include: Moonlight and Magnolias, Copenhagen, Crimes of the Heart, The Dazzle, Art, Three Days of Rain, Closer Than Ever, I Hate Hamlet, Take Me Out, Cloud Nine, Fool for Love, and Sunset Limited. In 2009, she will co-direct Brother Wolf in collaboration with Rhythm in Shoes. She has guest directed for The Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, Weathervane Playhouse, La Commedia Dinner Theatre, University of Dayton, Sinclair College Theatre, and The University of Cincinnati where she directed The Elephant Man, and she recently took her hand at the outdoor Johnny Appleseed in Ashland, Ohio. She has also served as associate faculty member at Sinclair Community College, Wright State University, Wittenberg College and the University of Dayton, where she recently directed Omnium Gatherum. Marsha is a member of The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and a member of Dayton’s Theatre Hall of Fame.

KEVIN MOORE has been Executive Director and a Resident Artist of The Human Race Theatre Company since it was founded in 1986. He has directed Human Race productions of The Mystery of Irma Vep, The Gifts of the Magi, A Day In Hollywood*A Night In The Ukraine, The Rocky Horror Show, Beehive, Angels In America:Perestroika, Zombies From The Beyond, Children of Eden, Beautiful Thing (co-production with the Phoenix Theatre), A Grand Night For Singing, Bat Boy, Tuesdays With Morrie, Convenience (co-production with the Sacramento Theatre Company) and the world premiere of Wild Blue. He produced West Side Story at the Victoria Theatre, featuring the Dayton Ballet, breaking all Victoria box office records. In 2005 he produced Seussical – breaking attendance records at The Loft Theatre. Kevin also created the Musical Theatre Workshop in 2000 which has presented, to date, 20 regional premieres and three world premiere musicals, and hosted two national summits and a festival. He produced the World Premiere of the new musical WAS, produced and directed the Midwest Premiere of Harold & Maude, and produced the Midwest premiere of the new Stephen Schwartz musical, SNAPSHOTS: A Musical Scrapbook. Kevin is also proud of his working relationship with Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman on their new musical Green Gables, which had its professional premiere at the Victoria Theatre in 2005. Recently, Kevin directed Shenandoah at the Victoria Theatre as part of their Broadway Series. Kevin has served on the Ohio Arts Council Theatre Panel, the Montgomery County Arts District Education Panel, the National Endowment for the Arts Theatre & Musical Theatre Panel, and on the Boards of the AIDS Resource Center Ohio and Culture Works. Kevin currently serves as Secretary on the Board of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre and co-chair of their Festival of New Musicals. In 2003, Kevin was inducted into the Dayton Theatre Hall of Fame.
