The world held its breath when three of the 20th century’s most famous women mysteriously disappeared. This is their story. A comedy/fantasy, Vanishing Point brings together mystery novelist Agatha Christie, aviatrix Amelia Earhart and Jazz Age evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson at the moment of their famous disappearances. Stepping in and out of one another’s lives, they recall their pasts and explore their futures through a musical score influenced by a range of styles including ragtime, jazz, gospel, folk, Gilbert & Sullivan and modern musical theater.
